Boooooo!!! I'm not ready for autumn! Although, this is still a pretty nifty idea...
Why are people in such a rush for the autumn season to arrive? Everywhere I turn on the internet, people are talking about fall, posting about fall, or preparing for the recipes and holidays attributed to the season. This observation I’ve made may have something to do with my newfound obsession with Pinterest, where I’m seeing most of these exclamations for this brisk time of year. And sure, autumn excites me because my birthday is situated right in the heart of it. But come on! August JUST ended. Can’t we enjoy a few more weeks of sunshine, blistering temperatures, and the far-off sounds of ice cream trucks? Pretty please? I’ve just spent the past year of my life in a place where the temperature only makes it into the 70′s every once in awhile, so I don’t think this is too much to ask.
